Maiora Technologies.
A Singapore deep-tech energy company, pre-launch and raising, needed two things at once: a public face with total discipline about what it reveals, and a private room where investors read everything and the founders see everything.
Pre-launch is a communications problem.
A company that prints energy systems into building surfaces has a story investors want and competitors would love to read. Before launch, the website cannot say too much, the deck cannot float around as an email attachment, and the founders need to know which investor actually opened which page, because follow-up on signal beats follow-up on hope.
A public face and a private room.
The brand presence
A restrained public site on a midnight palette with custom typography: the thesis, careers across three disciplines, press, brand guidelines, and contact, saying exactly as much as a pre-launch company should.
Passwordless entry
Investors enter the data room through email magic links with per-investor access keys. No passwords to leak, no shared logins, and access can be revoked person by person.
The reading room
Documents render server-side in the room itself with generated page thumbnails, so the deck is read where it lives instead of circulating as an attachment.
Analytics that read back
Every login and every document view is timestamped per investor. The founders open one screen and know who is engaged, who went quiet, and which pages held attention.
The film treatment
A fifteen-shot storyboard for the launch reel, modeled on the best factory films in deep tech, ready for the day the machines can be shown.
How we built it.
The site and the data room are one Next.js application with the gate enforced server-side: signed sessions, per-investor keys, and a document viewer that never hands out the file. Confidentiality is the architecture, not a watermark, and engagement became a measurable asset for the raise.
Results.
A pre-launch company that presents like an operating one: a public face with discipline, an investor room where 100% of reads are on the record, and a founding team that runs its raise on who actually read what, not on who said they would.
